New Economy Goods Lift

Economy lift with free standing fully enclosed structure and half height car.

Rear rack and pinion drive.

Suitable for capacities from 100kg up to 1000kg with a maximum platform size 1400mm x 1900mm.

Multifloor applications available or short floor loading bay lift (ideal replacement for a scissor lift).

Small ramp height of 70mm with projection of 840mm (to building regulations) on the ground floor, negating the need for pit construction.

Speeds up to 6 meters per minute.

Inverter controlled to achieve level loading +/- 5mm.

Easy and quick installation, can be installed and commissioned in one day.

Complies fully with the machinery Directive.

Waitrose – Bath

Final preparations are underway for the delivery of Waitrose new goods lifts at their store in Bath. The 2000kg goods lift serving three floors is being delivered on 10th July ready for installation. Please stay posted for photographs of the new lift.

New goods lift to be installed at Debenhams Distribution Centre, Peterborough.

An additional Elephante industrial goods lift is to be installed at the Debenhams Distribution Centre in Peterborough. The 2000kg goods lift will serve three floors and will work along side another Elephante goods lift transporting stock across four floors of the Debenhams warehouse.

The lift is currently being manufactured at Elephante head office in Runcorn Cheshire and will be installed in August 2012. Photographs of the goods lift will follow shortly. Please see our gallery for pictures of the Elephante goods lift currently installed at Debenhams.

Twenty years ago Michael Bate, Elephante shareholder set up a company designing, manufacturing and servicing UK made goods lifts. This company, Elephante continues to thrive and provide Industrial Goods Lifts and Services to major companies throughout the UK.

In 2010 Michael retired due to ill health and unfortunately on Saturday 28^th April Michael passed away. It is with regret that we have lost a true gentleman.

Michael was an asset to the industry and will be missed.
